Flapped Wings Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Flapped Wings

Flapped wings

Could hear flapped wings
Soft, sweet as she sings
Her "Fight Song".

Between beaks carried hay, or stick
One must learn that she was expecting
Pair of eggs, and twin of babies.

Pigeons are example and sample
The unique loving bird sent message:
"Family is loving and great! "

They talk of faithfulness…

I was deep in clouds
They made shapes in sky
Behind them Equinox
That changes the season to announce:
"It's Noruz, take leave and celebrate."
