Flickers Of Eternity Poem by DM W

Flickers Of Eternity

Flickers of eternity
Permeate the mind's eye.

Truth is not a golden god,
But a seed blown by the wind

Beauty is not an angel,
But a mirror polished by a child

And Love is not a blazing flame,
But a desperate hand reaching out to us
From the depths of darkness.
