Flight Poem by Alexander Thomas

Flight

Rating: 5.0

What is this power I kneel before?
Broken and in awe,
I am alone,
Before your throne.

What am I becoming?
Towards what am I running?
As the words take hold,
Fulfilling prophecy foretold.

The wings penetrate the skin,
To lift me to a place beyond sin,
As together we rise,
To a glorious prize!
