Follow Your Dreams Poem by Alexander Thomas

Follow Your Dreams

In the years between the hours,
Time strikes the heart to the core,
From deep summoning special powers,
Arousing love, wonder and awe,
Memories cascade in lakes of being,
As you fall through me like rain,
A sublime magic of seeing,
You cleanse all of my pain,
Beyond the body, beyond the mind,
Between us a ghostly electricity,
We leave the Earth behind,
And dance in ethereal felicity,
The darkness consumed by our souls ablaze,
Like stars calling over vast oceans,
Your great presence in rays,
Shines through my swelling emotions,
Our spirits mix in stirring light,
As clouds penetrated by moonbeams,
We run through the night,
In pursuit of our celestial dreams,
Grip my arm and come with me,
And follow my freedom cries,
To fly beyond this sea,
Where true love never dies.
