Flights Of Fancy Poem by Patti Masterman

Flights Of Fancy

The chortle ran off with the belly laugh,
The giggle ran away with the smirk-
Leaving the snickers and glowers and glares,
Bored at the depot, to lurk..

The gasp made off with the sigh,
And the snores soon took over the room-
With rattles that tattled to all, by and by.
That it would be morning quite soon..
