Why don’t you ask what is happening in this world?
Why do you turn a blind eye to the worlds’ events?
Sitting in front of your TV, drinking your milkshake and cappuccino,
Watching Lady Gaga’s Pokerface,
Ignoring children and ladies in Gaza,
Or Justin Bieber’n’Selena Gomez’s back together,
War mothers and children can never be back together,
Engrossed in sentimental soap operas, slip slaps,
Looking at Justin Timberlake, One Direction,
Admiring even Chain Smokers’ Selfie! , Aqua’s Barbie Girl!
Uncritical, automatic, robotic followers,
Seeking for a sense of tranquility, ecstasy,
Crowd susceptibility, political hysteria, and ritual trances,
In a state of collective hysteria, mass illusion,
Intelligent services turn people to guinea pigs,
Force-feeding them LCD, to mind manipulate,
Suggestibility, physical manipulation, and trickery,
Your life is fake, it’s a stage hypnosis,
You play along to be centre of attention,
A deceptive corrosive placebo effect,
Feeling, seeing, thinking, hearing, through media suggestions,
In a state of nervous sleep, not a common sleep,
Engrossed in obsessions, daydreams, fantasy,
Or amnesia, oblivion, total eclipse of memory,
Somnambulism, lethargy, and mental epilepsy,
Lapse of perceptions, veils of naivety, simplemindedness,
Blocking out all doors of rationality, reason and wisdom,
You make jokes on aircraft crashes, they amuse you,
I was in tears, my heart and soul torn apart in sadness,
Yes, hopes dashed, dreams crashed, families mashed,
For fake swindlers disguised as politicians,
You sleeping, unconscious or delusional?
Heightened focus on your hallucinations,
Of reality, beauty, joy, power, superficiality,
Distant from truth, inspiration and reality,
Floating on waves of unquestioning triviality,
Drifting like a leaf in whirlwind, like
Tom Sawyer, like Great Gatsby, or a trembling vagabond,
Seeking for a mirage of happiness, escaping form slippery identity,
Living in ivory towers, pipe dreams, pipe dreams,
Man is unconsciously seduced, induced, used,
His life is a stage hypnotism,
He is the actor under the gaze of other manipulated fools,
He is influenced by animal magnetism,
A vegetable in a mind control mechanism,
Conditioned by media for reflex fanaticism,
Suggestibility induced by expectation of pride and grandeur,
Animal hibernation or a desperate plea for attention?
Dissociation of awareness from truth, reality,
Not even an iota of profound mentality.
