Florida Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Florida

Florida

In Sechelt, on a roadside,
He sleeps in a white car,
License plate Florida's,
Bears a flag, America's.

The stars, stripes,
Are Blue, Red, and white,
Floating on the blood,
Of the slave, occupied,
Targeted by the bombs,
Gaza to Guatemala,
Manilla, Vietnam,
To Guam, to Iraq,
All over, day and night!

The columns of culture,
Making their governance,
Exposed by the presidents,
Are greed, money, wealth,
And no more, nothing else!

The daughter planned well,
Called the police, complained,
Repeated an old trick:
"Our mom is dangerous,
For others and herself…"

Mother is behind the bars,
Is observed, is confined,
Supervised in a madhouse!

Authorized by the law,
Legally does as wants:
"You can go to the hell! "
She said to the brother!

America's inheritance,
‘Corporate…corporate! '
‘Private…Private…'
‘No to the powerless! '
