Flow - Poem by Triauna Hall

I hate how people are seeing my words but aren’t really hearing them
They aren’t feeling my vibe making my words cut slim
You tilt your head to the side and try to understand me, when you don’t
You get mad and leave, then turn off your screen, all cause you won’t
I lose more faith in humanity and what’s in between all because of you
Never breaking routine; writing what I love and doing what I do
When push comes to shove, I try to write all that I can to all of you
Sometimes without a single plan but I always bite what I can chew
I’m often going in to things blind, I always find some kind of a way
I’m often in a bind but I know exactly what to say
Even though my flow is often slow, I speak from the heart
And whatever I may throw will never break me apart
I’m wide awake and so is my flow, but I have my own style
My words will soon grow but for now I’m a misfit in denial

My words will soon grow but for now I’m a misfit in denial
Your words are loud enough to say what you are going through.
