Flowers And Trees Poem by Andrew Matthews

Flowers And Trees

There is nothing like the flowers in full bloom
In the Spring and the Summer
their petals moistened with the morning dew.

The Daffodil, the Tulip and the Rose
The Crocus and the blossom
where the Apple grows.

They make it a pleasure to walk
through the meadow on breezy days
Gazing in awe across the valleys and hills
Even at the colourful boxes on peoples window sills.

To appreciate natures beauty
is to say thank you to God, the creator of all we see
And if your wondering who should take care of it all
The answer is me.
