Flowers On My Grave Poem by Randy McClave

Flowers On My Grave

Rating: 5.0

Who will put flowers on my grave
When I am dead and gone,
Who will be there to remember me
Or will I not be remembered on.
I stand at the foot of my parents grave
I then say to them a little prayer,
Respectfully I do that for all my family
But, for me will anyone be there.
It's good to be remembered when you are living
It's cheering when family comes to call,
But, sadly sometimes the visit is only beneficial to them
So, will I be remembered at all.
Will someone be paid to bring me flowers
When I am placed deep in the ground,
Or will my marker be covered with weeds
Then, I am never found.
I placed flowers on my families grave
So, all will know that I have not forgot,
I wonder if flowers will be placed on my grave
Or, will I be remembered, not.
