Flu-Bugs Poem by John Carter Brown

Flu-Bugs

Flu-bugs

My friend's gone on his holidays
to Spain, I don't know why
it's full of crazy tourists
and it's where the Flu-bugs fly

He'll come home full of sneezes
I've told him not to go
but off he's gone regardless
him, his friends and co'

Lying on their loungers
dipping in the pool
heedless of the danger
everyone a fool

Dancing in the disco's
up against the throng
I've warned him time and time again
'this could go very wrong'

Well, home he came repentant
and ill just fit to die
another sorry casualty
from where the Flu bugs-fly.
