Dry academics say, ' Don't deviate
From the textbook! ' Whilst we who are free to
Reason and dream are forever engaged
In following divergent pathways. You
Could too! It is merely a matter of
Making a choice between the grey forces
Of fear and the forces of Light and Love.
As soon as one embraces the rich course
Of life that brings joy and enlightenment,
Then no petty thing can stand in one's way.
I tend to find that study complements
Work, as well as, wondrous creative play.
Consequently, never ever listen
To nay-sayers. They don't know what they're missin'!
