Fond Of The Moon - Poem by James McLain

On the field
open to the issue's
by the heart of one that is
remember that song it went
the way of songs that do.
Looking for you have to
see it sink.
Tall those trees
their roots
can see themselves
for the pone
that hangs beneath.
