Food (Food Crises Solved By Robin Hood's Way) Poem by U Win Kyi

One in every 7 persons is now in hunger.
That is about 14% of world population....an astronomical number.
This causes a big headache for world leaders,
because the food crises is drawing near,
for which I have an easy answer.
That is asking every one from other 86 percent,
eating 2-3 spoonful of rice less,
in every meal,
for them, it won't be a big deal,
but for the starving people their hunger alleviated and healed.
Asking the able-bodied people to eat brunch,
so as to skip the lunch.
Asking them also to take part,
in World Vision 36 hours fast,
to experience the pinch of being hungry,
so that they would know how to show the sympathy.
The food so saved would be in thousands of tonnes in amount,
for the poor hungry people, it really count.
This is Robin Hood's way of zeal,
' To the poor man, he gives, From the rich, he steals.'
but in this food crises, the poor hungry people just appeal,
in a position head bowed down and leg kneeled,
to show them mercy.
