Fooling Their Own Mind

There are so many people, who say they never lie,
They just make up stories, concealing the truth inside.

They might not want to hurt someone, so they hide the facts,
They might fool you one time, then the truth comes out in their acts.

After a while, when you listen to what they have to say,
You just agree, let it pass, then go on with your day.

They are concerned, and always talking about themselves,
And only want you in their life, when their needing some help.

Always on the run, never having much time to stay, tell their story,Then off to someone else, with their game to play.

Some of them wise up, learn to be honest over time, others never do,
They live their life cheating themselves, and fooling their own mind.

You should always be straight forward, with anyone, willing to put time aside, To listen to you.

If not you may pass up a chance, to accomplish,
The dreams you always wanted to do.
