Looking back to the month of May
In the year of our dear Lord 2001
Handel's Chorus drifted away
Silently echoing across the bay
An animal disease had begun
So highly contagious
And completely outrageous.

Prayers were sung to the heavens
Country folk fought back the tears
But success came our way
And we honour the day
Handel's music came back to stay.
Virus contained ~ happiness regained.
God answered our prayer of despair.
