Footprints In The Snow - Poem by Colette Grosvenor
The moment I feel happy with my life,
Dark storm clouds rush in,
To trample on everythng I have.
There is someone out there,
Who hates to see me happy,
So they strip away the happiness from me,
leaving just my footprints in the snow.
For as long as I can remember,
I have been like this,
Feeling depressed and negitive.
Because of that person,
Who engulfed my ability to be happy.
Now I am negitive,
And just a pair of fotprints in the quickly fading snow.
