For A Better Tomorrow Poem by VIPINS PUTHOORAN

For A Better Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

I'll not be disrespectful,
Oh my Lord, unto you.
For what am I getting now;
Praise or Curse!
Even if my Path is
So Narrow and full of Arrows.
Even if my Sky is
Cloudy or Gloomy.
Even if I have No one
To Support me
Or Rapport with me
Even if I get no Shadow or Shelter
To save my Soul.
I'll not be disrespectful-
Oh my Lord, unto you
For thou hast made me as a Man
I'll look up unto your Glory
With your Light in my Eyes.
To Praise you
As much as I can.
For a better tomorrow.

I honestly found this piece of work very interesting.. besides a tinge of pessimism, your poem is followed by a certain degree of elation too
