WHY FIND IT SO HARD TO COME TO JESUS?
Grief and sorrow overwhelm the victim,
No healing balm from his gods received.
Silent and mute, they stare coldly at him
Those idols he held, on which he believed.
Awake! You stubborn-hearted men!
Why find it so hard to come to Jesus?
Religious doctrines were all you were given
Never the Truth of Christ so precious!
His Word alive still calls out to you
Only God is Faithful to His promise!
The world is empty, nothing it can do
Come to Jesus, He is your Peace!
Oh islands! So proud and so blind!
Awake while time is still here-
In Christ alone, in Him you will find
God's Love, His Comfort for your tears!
