For Flame Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

For Flame

For Flame

For flame went downtown,
Partly mad, part for job.

The hollow streets
Reflected cemeteries.

With the masks and careless
Walked around dead people.

Souls came out of graves,
As if October End!

Few who socialised
Did so for sake of dogs.

Pets loving each other,
Wagged tails and greeted.

And tried to kiss, hug,
For success, had to fight.

Pulled the leashes, muzzles
And used force with all legs.

Main devil was mankind,
This selfish, brutal…

We deserve what have got
Pain, sickness, and flood.

Suddenly saw the ghost,
A thin, tall, and just bone.

Behind him a long line,
Hungry with no sight,
Wanted food and drug.

Is this life worth living?
Is it not misery?
I rather departing
On path of "No return! "
