For Grace. Poem by Anna Andio

For Grace.

Rating: 5.0

I'll blow you a kiss,
A wicked touch before I go.
I'm only to give it because I'll be missed,
I know you'll be aching as I go.
Can't touch you.
The skin you have-once lovely-
Makes me retch, face twisted in sickness.
Tantalizing smiles you shoot my way,
Only they don't tantalize me.
They never did in any way.
I listen to your laugh,
And my ears begin to burn.
The reaction I have is no longer chemicals in turn.
My heart twists in my chest,
Bile raises to my throat.
Have you finished your test?
The land shakes with my unholy roar.
Yeah, you've settled your score.
Everybody hates you now, if you haven't noticed.
I bet you wish you hadn't forsaken my kiss.
So now I have to go,
And I press my fingers to my lips,
And you reach out to touch the tips.
Though as skin meets skin,
You're awash in my newest sin.
When I leave you at last,
You're going to rot!
Rot in the memory of our past.
As my revenge is bathed in it's end,
I'll blow your body one last kiss.
And give one last look to your body,
One more look at the face of some-some-
Thing, and turn for the more to come.
