suddenly from somewhere
a niche untouched by
reason or rationale
untouched by
the routine affairs of men
surfaces and pulls me
into its womb
for a moment its
emptiness stares at me
and throws me out of gear

in a blink i gather myself
for there can only be
fullness where you are...
