For now, things seem alright
Our bowls are filled
The air is clean
People parade
For now, this is as it seems

For now, the jungles breath
The rivers stream
Order is kept
Ordered by a machine
For now, we feel free

For now, what for?
What nudges peace
Yet shuns oblivion
For now, why at all?
Mend the chaos
Force liberty
For now, this is as it seems

Keep your love close
But your reason closer
Clean your lens at occasion
Be bold, be brazen
Wary of the criminal corners
Never at ease
For now, big brother watches you
But couldn't bat an eye as you plead
