For The Girl With The Brown Eyes - Poem by Charlie F. Kane

I want to make you happy,
It’s as simple as that.
I want to make you smile
Just to see your face light up
In that beautiful way.
I want to be your scribe
I want to write you words
That say what I mean.
I want you to want me.

Your poem is strainghtforward and I like it. I tried to write one from the girl's brown eyes looking out, 'A Single Rose.' It's hard enough to figure out what I want, let alone what they want. But you have given it a good try. You last four lines are a strong close. I hope you get a chance to read it to her.
