For You Poem by Laurie hill

For You

Rating: 5.0

You touched with healing fingers,
the soul that writhed in pain,
You stroked where memories linger,
of the heart that bore her name.
You gently kissed a place like night,
where once a love had shone,
softly bringing forth the light,
'til all the shadows gone

Short but powerful. When one door closes another opens, and that is evident in this poem. Beautifully written from a place of knowing. Nothing is ever beyond love. Linda

There is so much sensitivity in this poem Laurie. The words you use create such beautiful images. To touch and heal the soul, to stroke the heart and heal memories all create a feeling of peace. 10 love Karin
