Foraging Far Away From Home Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

Foraging Far Away From Home

Rating: 5.0

On one of my naughty excursions
I followed the trail of dreams
Footsteps of passion called my name
I was foraging far away from home
I was in the lush wilderness of life
All my desires were vibrating and colorful
All my wants needed a bit of satisfaction
It was a stormy night of seductive maneuvers
I was foraging far away from home
The open sea of tempestuous emotions was very near
And I was the oscillating wave of raw passion
To and fro, I was the full intensity of romanticism
Loaded with bullets of desires
I was ready to unload a full spectrum of demands
I was foraging far away from home
Not least bothered by this unbuttoned spirit
I was tearing into the foliage of life
I was licking the nectar on every strawberry with my eyes wide open
I was foraging far away from home
In this episode of desire
Life was a bowl of cherries
I was tempted to embrace all of my tumultuous desires
I was inside the forest of seduction
And my profusely illustrated desires were yearning for more
I was inside a dream and the dream was real
