Forbidden feelings

We have not seen each other for a long time.
She kissed me on the cheek.
She was happy and we were talking
about our families and friends.

At the end I kissed two fingers
and put them on her lips.
She looked me right in the eyes.
I saw a glow in the tearful eyes.

Is there more heat than forbidden love?
Why do we turn on the fire again
that can not be extinguished?

Why are her eyes tearing?
Why am I sad when I see her?
Because we're honest.
We know what is forbidden.
That's why we will never be lovers.

Zabranjena osjećanja

Odavno se nismo vidjeli.
Poljubila me je u obraz.
Bila je vesela i pričali smo dugo
o našim porodicama i prijateljima.

Na rastanku sam poljubio dva prsta
i prislonio ih na njene usne.
Pogledala me je pravo u oči.
Vidio sam sjaj u suznim očima.

Da li postoji veća toplota
od zabranjene ljubavi?
Zašto ponovo palimo vatru
koja se ne može ugasiti?

Zbog čega su njene oči suzne?
Zbog čega sam tužan kad je vidim?
Zato što smo mi pošteni.
Znamo šta su zabranjena osjećanja.
Zato mi nikad nećemo biti ljubavnici.
