Forbidden Paradise Poem by Howard Howie Johnson

Forbidden Paradise

Rating: 5.0

The beasts of the Jungle
are calling out to me
come, join us, and let yourself be free.
Everywhere is alive with song
from their mating calls
and with my ebony child at my side
we wander there at night.
The moon and stars is the canopy
that covers our well-being
as we stroll through the sultry night
along a lonesome beach.
Love is our guardian angel
to keep us safe this night
as we stroll along in our forbidden paradise.
