Forever Poem by Lacie Wasserman

Forever

I can wait.
I've got forever.
Don't ever think I don't love you. There are things you can't erase.
You can't forget.
As long as your with me I'll make your worries dissapear.
Forget your fears.
Drop your worries.
Just lose yourself.
Clear your hate from your head. Let everything go.
We've got forever to spend.
Time to mend.
Our hearts.
Our mind.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Everything in our lives have been intertwined.
All through our bodied core.
We're greedy. Reaching for more and more.
Our hunger grows. This shows us what we really are in the inside.
Much less the outside.
We've got forever to hide.
Why be cowards? We forget the showers of courage.
Stand up for what you believe in. No harm done.
No one realizes these battles can not be won.
We've got forever to fight?
What happens when the lights go out? Do you shout in the distance for a helping hand?
You've got forever to scream and yell.
Well?
No one tells you that Forevers a long time.
