The oceans rage within my heart
For another day we must spend apart
We belong side by side like sand and the sea
Yet you are not here with your arms closed around me
Each day you are gone, I need you more than ever
But I know for you, I would wait forever
To see your eyes gaze deeply into mine
In this world, there is no better sight
Whether you are next to me or whether you are gone
Your love calls out to me in the most beautiful of songs
So I whisper a prayer into the ever-changing wind
That I will one day see my love again
