I try to be strong
but i always forgive
even though your wrong
I try to forget, and live.

I try to look past
the words you screamed
the scars and pain still lasts
pretended to justify the mean

imaginary hope you paint
just to make me believe a lie
i used to believe, now its too late,
but again i constantly try

so like the promises you broke
ignored by the one who created
i cant be fixed, put together, nope
ill pick myself up, but once i heal, all pain is related
