Forever On Hand Poem by Gad Edia

Forever On Hand

Rating: 3.5

Let’s see the world from this angle where its clear
Let’s climb it’s hills from the base where it grew
We’ll run out of strength, but not time
For we have tomorrow, the rest of it in summer cloud
Stalled in age, carried across eternity

With forever on hand, let’s count the stars
Let’s forget yesterday and the ones before
If we’d walk the miles let’s start now
Let’s smile along and taste every fruit
We’ll depart with empty purses whenever we wake
After a century it’d still be so but used

Lets learn the ropes and the oceans wave
We’ve kicked the sand why not swim the sea?
All our cares are buried in secure calm
With forever to count, we’ll always be young
Don’t need a ride when I’ve got wings

Tell mama not to ask where I’ve gone
We set to leave with never on our minds
With everything within reach the power is rife
I no not any craving when realities besot me
Why dream, when freedom is free?

The next bomb lights the air with gladness
The saddest news warms the heart with cheers
The oldest man takes the horse for a run
A little boy roam the wild in peace
The weirdest concepts goes ahead of time
The next big thing is painless, costlest and timeless
With forever on hand, what can we not do!
