Stuck In The Hour Poem by Gad Edia

Stuck In The Hour

Rating: 4.0

IN that hour when darkness begins to shine
And the flowers wear a new look, all of gold
That moment when a whisper makes a hymn
When life reveals a color, clear and warm
It's that point when the desert starts to sprout
When the wreckage recycle its wealth
It's that moment it dawned, all a dream

That hour when glory approaches your toil
When your desires are just headed right
That point when your smile is about to mutate
When it's just about time to call it success
That second when goodwill is about to knock
When truth is just to be heard
It's that moment you're asked to leave

It's that period when I thought of my maker
When I got tired of being a fool
That point when I should quit living a lie
When I make up with my bereaved conscience
It's that hour when I've tired myself of conceit
When the heavy weight of my vile numbs my heart
It's that moment I choose to die

It's that season I've come to adore
That phase I pray forever last
At that point I can return to peace
That night I can sleep at the beach
It's that moment I've saved up for wisdom
That year my mundane toil adds up
It's that day the kingdom decides to come
