I would like to find serenity
Upon some quiet shore
To feel the sand beneath my feet
And taste happiness once more

I would like to find tranquility
Upon this world so cruel
So I can feel safe again
Where war it does not rule

I would like to find myself again
Upon this land of honey
Where friendship is freely given
And no greed there be for money

I would like to find a reason
To trust where hope is gone
Not be isolated like a hermit
I am sure I will find someone

I would like to cast off all my worries
To find a life of dreams come true
I will make optimism my byword
That way I will not be blue

I will fight to achieve my destiny
Upon this world so lonely
I will always have a cup half full
And say when, and not if only
