Forever Young - Poem by Alexander Shaumyan

Forever Young

the rose colored morning light,
the breeze-
the introduction of the night
with ease.

the solemn promises we made,
the stars-
while drinking gin and lemonade
in cars.

with every setback and retreat
we knew
that we'll get on our feet

when we were children, we sought thrill
and fun-
now much older, we are still
forever young.
