Forget Me Never.
I will remember the things we did.
Where we went, the fun we had.
The wistful smile which sometimes hid
Your halting way with words unsaid.
Our love will always make me glad.
Please forget me never.
We never said the skies would be
Forever blue above us two.
It took a while for us to see
Wisdom's way with you and me.
We parted, but I beg of you
Please forget me never.
I love this piece. It is sometimes so hard to say goodbye even though we know it is for the better.. Very good poem.
