I love from my heart
I write from my heart
I dwell in my heart
My heart is my kingdom
Where I feel safe, at home
But foolish is the heart
Without the mind
It's like leaving a kid alone in the street
Or like seven wolves surrounding a sheep
Be gentle and meek
Be tender and kind
But forget not the mind
If, like me, your heart is everything
Forget not to think
Hold your heart in one hand
And the mind in the other
Your heart will tell you to burn yourself to light others
Frowning, the mind will utter:
Strive for your happiness
You deserve all the tenderness
You shower on others without breaks
Give as much as you take
Your heart and mind may argue
Let them do
They may even fight
But when you're about to decide
Be wise and acute
To the mind's voice, be not mute
In time, you'll find serenity,
When heart and mind dwell in harmony.
Then your heart will think wisely,
And your mind will love deeply.
