Forgetfulness Can Be Forget - Poem by Gajanan Mishra

Forgetfulness can be forget
With double mindset
In the morning and at sunset.

An information is here
For you my dear
And this relates to forgetfulness.

That I forget to tell you
And I am proud for that.

Before and after sleeping
You told me so many things
And I have recorded them all
In the memory but where it is
That I failed to discover now.

Ask me not who am I- relevancy no more.

Finally here is a paradox that makes forgetting amusing! Hooray to the poet for noticing. If I forget about my forgetfulness, I will not be bothered by it, so I am remembering to enjoy life. This poem echoes a thought that I sometimes have. It seems my memory is becoming as full of holes as swiss cheese. If my memory-holes can line up with the empty places in reality, then I will understand the world clearly (as a whole) . (Report) Reply
