I could ask you to forgive
I could ask for you to forget
and you would
but I don't want you to
I don't want what I don't deserve
and I don't want memories erased
because there are all any of us have
and when I'm gone if you have forgiven and forgotten
everything I have done wrong
what will you remember?
my face?
another face in a sea of them
my name?
another word in the book of life
because that's all we are, with out the actions we have taken
I don't want to be forgotten
like so many others
remember my actions
no matter how horrid
and never forgive because I want you to feel something
when you think of me
even if it is hate or sorrow
so please...... never forgive and never forget.
