I can't believe I fell for this trick
the mere mention makes my stomach sick
I said yes then you said it too
I thought I would be so proud to be one of the few
I can't believe I cared so deeply for a lie
I can't believe I would have almost died
I knew you were lying to my face
but the false feelings had already taken their place
my depression and sadness is all that I can show
and all I can do is hang my head so low
