I hate you for my history
but thank you for opening my eyes,
you see,
the circumstances underwhich i was raised has been molded by you,
yet,
my perception is a universal one.
I thank you for beating me without reason,
because your senseless violence has encouraged me to love, accept and understand your way of life.
I readily accept your ridicule well knowing that your jealousy and or envy fuels my fire,
a fire that burns red hot and true.
When you mock me,
you encourage me to strengthen my character,
though you try and weaken this physical being.
One cannot dig one's way out of a hole
you have to stop digging and climb out.
As such is life,
the more you hate
the greater the area becomes for love to step in.

Forgiveness is a gift. It does not only release the person, but the victim as well. Has a two fold manifestation. When one forgives much, it makes room to love much! Love is unconditional. A touching poem, well expressed.; D
