Forgiveness
As the waves wash over me
I feel the weight lifting off my shoulders
My god, do I feel lighter
That devil finally off my back
Yet I do not fully feel like he deserved it
Everything feels right, like god is smiling back down on me
I have faith he'll do good by me now
Each day, the sun does rise
