have you ever forgotten how to be you
i have
i became a coward a LIAR
i lie even to myself
i forgot how to be a friend
how to sit and just listen
i instead became a shouting contender
i forgot i need to hear to be heard
i forgot to trust myself and let others judgement
of me become me
i figured i will be back in no time
i forgot to hit the reminder button
so i forgot
i got comfortable
with their ideas that i totally got lost
and when trying to find my footing
i found myself fumbling
for words
for thoughts
for actions

i forgot i had an anger issue
i forgot i was paranoid
i forgot i existed
i forgot i belonged
i forgot i am

i forgot me i gave up on the world
simply i forgot i was a part of it
