Forgotten Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Forgotten

Forgotten

How crippled we are!
And live from reality very far
We go after ornamentation
The poetry has lost its dimension

I beg for on open road
And ask all to give an odd
Totally new concept
Even though we are inept

But what should I do?
And go through
Mind and requirement
I think sincerely about present

The time has changed
Situation is totally mismanaged
The religion has taken over spirit
But main contention to greet has been forgotten

So I ask for restoration
Of original orientation
Of poems in real form
In intact form and not in torn appearance
