Forgotten Man Poem by Kevin Lomax

Forgotten Man

Rating: 5.0

A forgotten man
On enlightened sands
Breached by the winds
That stun his soul
Into wretched nights
On a pitiless bed
Where the toss'ed turns
Mark numberless fears -
Yet the self-same winds
Brings something nameless
Into a thrice-stoned heart
Which now beats and pounds
With deeper measure
And arcs him forward
Until he is no longer
A forgotten man

An insightful piece of poetry well twisted in poetic diction with conviction. Beautiful rendition of words nicely brought forth. Thanks for sharing Kelvin.

Nice poem....10 With bare hands Despite having known about the cycle and life's theory We go on collecting ill gotten money When time comes to enjoy We go bare handed to heavenly journey
