I can’t imagine life without you
You have become a part of me
Without you I would not exist
Your life moves within me
Your breath is mine

I don’t want to look at tomorrow
Tomorrow is like a storm in the distant sky
Waiting
To swallow me up
and leave me cold

Cold and old
and empty
Like a shadow on the wall
A ghost of a person who once lived
and breathed
Laughed and cried
Now dead
No emotion
No tears
No heart
No feelings

My love I need your child-like smile
Your sunshine eyes
Your gentle strength
To hold me up against the tempest
that rages within
