Fortunate Boy Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Fortunate Boy

Fortunate boy

You were street boy
Picking rags and broken toys
You were growing on borrowed food
With kind eyes and gesture from neighborhood

The tide has turned
The fortune has returned
You have grown intelligent
The past has gone into hiding at present

You are successful man
Shining and kind human
You are now donating in abundance
People prefer and enjoy floor dance with you

So it has positive swing
And you sing
With melodious tune
For mercy shown

It is simple grace
And shine reflects on face
It is really amazing
You are freed from chasing circumstances
