Fountain

O fountain
Lovely blue fountain
You fall from the pick
Of a rocky mountain
That stands firm and fixed
In its age-old position
Like the pious hermit
Who sits for devotion.

O fountain, admirable fountain
You are the queen of hills
In the realm of mountain
Where every visionary feels
A kind of celestial delight
You flow in a zigzag way
Glittering like emerald
Found in the bottom of bay.

O fountain, mighty fountain,
You run to the plain
Piercing the hard rock
Without making any complain.
You quench the thirst of traveler,
Who knows it better
The very real worth
Of your crystalline water.

O fountain,
Handsome young fountain
Like a beautiful maid
Your beauty you maintain
Your journey towards sea
Is a perilous and tiresome one
But you never halt half way
Always persist your run.

O fountain, delightful fountain
When moonlight falls in your back
You glitter like pearl
Of a beautiful dancer’s neck
When shower of rain falls
In your quivering back
You resemble very much a fairy
That no beauty you lack.

O fountain,
Crossing the plains and desert
You run to meet the waves of sea
Consciously remaining alert
Again in Nature’s bid
Take the shape of rain
Carried by windy air
Fall in the top of mountain.
