Fountain Of Delight Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Fountain Of Delight

Fountain of delight!
I be a weary man
A tired man
And sick
And here came
In this garden where you
Spurt
Fountain of delight
The clock of life be
Counting feverish:
And I must call a
Day for desires
Burn my plans into the
Fires
And simply live
And breathe - just that!
And
See you here and sigh
Your whispering in the gurgling
Hearing:
Sigh after sigh at the lost years alas!
Here, fountain of delight, here!
