Four Long Years Of Separation Yet United All The Time Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Four Long Years Of Separation Yet United All The Time

Four years back
on the 25th of April 2015 the earth shook literally and metaphorically
Ma had to leave for her original abode
Where waited Baba and their departed ones near and dear
To complete their union at their new home

Ma left after a short suffering of Alzymer for three months and ultimately like a bird free from the cage she reached the sky
To be another star who would guide me from billions of distance afar
At the very outset life seemed to be ending
I had nothing to do except sobbing
Behind my pillows
So as my wailing never reach neighbors home

Ma at times visited me in my dreams
I smiled there and woke up to find her nowhere
Life moved on like the waters in the streams
Today after four years tears have dried
At times only waters flow from the eyes
Where no sign of sobbing
Lips are tight only water flows down the seeks
May be I have made peace
Of staying way from mother
But happy she is united with father
Why to bother?
I know 'am separated yet united as this mind always think and visualize them
Hope from far they too act the same.
